About the estate
The Cave des Champs winery is located in Valais, Switzerland, specifically in the mountain village of Miège within the Coteaux-de-Sierre region. The Clavien family manages this traditional estate in its third generation as independent winemakers. Today, the vineyards cover eleven hectares, benefiting from unique limestone and sediment soils originating from a historical rockfall. The estate was founded in 1986 by Claudy Clavien, who now runs the winery together with his daughter Shadia. All crus are classified under the AOC Valais denomination and are carefully crafted through traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks as well as aging in high-quality barrels.
The eno directory lists 19 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Cornalin.
