About the estate
The Swiss winery Cave de l'Orlaya located in Fully in the Valais was established in 2016 when Mathilde Roux took over the previous estate. The vineyard area covers 9.2 hectares distributed across 80 parcels on the steep slopes of Fully, featuring numerous old vines. The grape variety portfolio includes local specialties such as Petite Arvine, Humagne Blanc, Humagne Rouge, Cornalin, Gamay, and Pinot Noir. The estate operates according to organic viticulture methods and received official organic certification in 2022. Vineyard management relies on manual harvesting, strict yield control, and precise vinification in the cellar.
