About the estate
The Cave d'Anchettes estate was founded in 1982 and cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards spread across 42 parcels in Venthône and the surrounding area in the Valais. The winery is considered a pioneer in introducing new grape varieties such as Viognier and Pinotage and currently grows around thirty different varieties. Farming is conducted in harmony with nature and the natural needs of the vines in the driest region of Switzerland. The yields are used to produce over 35 different wines, including specialties from grapes dried on the vine. Traditional vinification is carried out using indigenous yeasts.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier.
