About the estate
The Cave Cherouche estate was founded in 2010 by Andrea Grossmann and Marc Balzan in the Swiss canton of Valais. Spanning 1.3 hectares in Ayent, they cultivate eight plots on steep slopes situated between 600 and 850 meters above sea level. The schist and quartz soils are farmed organically without the use of artificial irrigation. All vineyard and cellar work is carried out entirely by hand to preserve the distinct characteristics of grape varieties such as Chasselas, Arvine, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. The wines are sold directly from the winery by appointment.
The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Chasselas and Petite Arvine. The estate sells to distributors and horeca.
