Cave Auger

About the estate

The Cave Auger estate, located in Restigné, manages vineyards across the Bourgueil and Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil appellations. The wines are produced from the Cabernet Franc grape variety grown on gravel and clay-limestone soils. Following the harvest, vinification takes place at the property, which is then followed by aging in oak barrels within the estate's tufa limestone cellars. These cellars, situated beneath the vineyards and the main house, originate from former stone quarries and mushroom farms dating back to the early twentieth century. The product range includes bottled wines as well as bulk wine, which are available in the dedicated sales area.
