About the estate

The Domaine des Géléries estate looks back on a family history dating back to 1913, with the plots having belonged to the Meslet, Thouet, and Rouzier families for several generations. Located in the Loire Valley near Bourgueil, the winery cultivates 32 hectares of vineyards spread across more than 45 parcels. The estate's vineyards are situated within the appellations of Bourgueil, Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil, and Chinon. The operation employs a moderate and reasoned approach to vineyard protection, earning the High Environmental Value certification in 2020. The daily work is guided by the objective of achieving optimal grape maturity, which provides the wines with richness, complexity, elegance, and finesse.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc.
