Cautiero

About the estate

The Cautiero estate was founded in 2002 by Fulvio Cautiero and Imma in Frasso Telesino, Campania, Italy. The vineyards are located on the western slope of Mount Taburno within the Sannio DOC zone, featuring soils ranging from loamy-clay to clay that are rich in skeletal limestone. From the beginning, the winery has practiced organic farming, focusing exclusively on indigenous grape varieties such as Falanghina, Greco, Fiano, Aglianico, and Piedirosso. All vineyard tasks are carried out strictly by hand, while the cellar work relies on spontaneous fermentation. The production approach combines respect for the natural environment with traditional values passed down through generations of the family.
