About the estate

The Azienda De Angelis 1930 estate cultivates vineyards on the volcanic slopes of Mount Vesuvius as well as on the terraced soils of the Sorrento Peninsula, where heroic viticulture is practiced in certain areas. The vineyards benefit from sandy and clayey soils, marine breezes, and intense sunlight. Using native grape varieties such as Aglianico, Piedirosso, Greco, and Falanghina, the winery produces distinctive wines under the Penisola Sorrentina DOP and Vesuvio DOP denominations. The winery continues the region's historic winemaking tradition and vinifies its quality wines centrally in Sorrento.
