About the estate
The Antica Masseria Venditti estate is located in Castelvenere and is run as a family business with a history dating back to 1595. The vineyards thrive in a unique microclimate and are cultivated with native grape varieties such as Falanghina, Cerreto, Coda di Volpe, Barbera, Aglianico, Montepulciano, and Piedirosso. All vineyard areas are managed organically, and the grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. The agricultural practices focus on low yields and the avoidance of chemical agents to preserve the authentic character of the terroir. In addition to winemaking, the estate preserves native vine varieties and offers visitors educational experiences through a didactic vineyard.
