About the estate
The historic Castello Tricerchi estate was completed in 1441 by the Tricerchi family and is today the home and headquarters of their direct descendants, the Squarcia family. The thirteen hectares of vineyards are located entirely on the northern slope of Montalcino and are exclusively cultivated with Sangiovese Grosso. Farming follows biological principles rooted in respect for nature. Inside the historic cellars within the castle, the grapes undergo traditional vinification with indigenous yeasts, long maceration on the skins, and aging in large Slavonian oak barrels.
