Calista Bernabe

About the estate

The Calista Bernabe estate is a small family-owned winery covering eight hectares of vineyards at the foot of Pic Saint-Loup in Saint-Clément-de-Rivière within the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The terroir features deep clay and limestone soils alongside a favorable microclimate shaped by the proximity of the Lez river. The property has traditionally worked with minimal inputs and is transitioning towards biodynamic agricultural practices. Both in the vineyard and the cellar, exclusively natural preparations are utilized with the guidance of expert Margarethe Chapelle. The wines are produced under the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert Val de Montferrand IGP designation.
