About the estate

The Bodegas Prado De Olmedo, S.L. winery was founded by the Fernández Gil family in Quintana del Pidio in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. The family farms 46 hectares of vineyards featuring a high proportion of very old vines planted on clay-limestone soils. Vineyard management and selective manual harvesting are carried out on a plot-by-plot basis with daily planning to ensure optimal grape quality. The estate produces red wines from the Tinta del País variety and white wines from Albillo Mayor. The winery's aspiration is to craft wines with a distinct character deeply rooted in local tradition.
