About the estate
The Bodegas Félix Sanz estate was founded in 1934 in the heart of Rueda and is one of the twelve founding wineries of the denomination from 1980. Since 2012, the Ustrell family has been part of the ownership, with Albert Ustrell managing operations and Pilar García-Duque acting as winemaker. The philosophy focuses on environmentally friendly practices and the creation of quality wines that express the characteristics of the terroir from the Páramo Cimbrón vineyard. A historical feature is the 15th-century underground cellar consisting of a network of mud-brick arched galleries located deep underground. Production combines centuries of tradition with modern winemaking techniques, including the use of concrete vats and native yeasts.
