About the estate

The Bodegas Berceo, S.A. estate in Haro looks back on a history in the Rioja DOCa dating back to 1801 and is considered the oldest winery in the city. The historic buildings were constructed in the Bordeaux style and are designed so that winemaking takes place across five levels utilizing pure gravity. The estate encompasses eight hectares of vineyards in various subzones such as Haro and Baños de Ebro, where old vine parcels are cultivated. Harvesting is carried out exclusively by hand in boxes, cultivating traditional varieties such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Viura. The underground cellars, which date back to medieval galleries, provide constant conditions for the maturation of the wines.
