The Bodega Cooperativa Católico Agricola de Chipiona looks back on a traditional history that began in 1922 as a cooperative union of 86 men. The estate produces a large share of the regional harvest and is active within the denominations of Jerez-Xérès-Sherry DO, Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda DO, and Vinos de la Tierra de Cádiz. Winemaking takes place in the modern Los Madroñales facility, while aging traditionally occurs through the dynamic solera and criaderas system at the historic Avenida de Regla cellar. In addition to various sherry styles, the portfolio primarily features regionally typical Moscatel wines as well as young wines and Vinos de la Tierra de Cádiz.
