About the estate

The Bleimer Schloss estate in Kraftsbuch within the Altmühltal Nature Park was restructured from a historical agricultural property and is considered the first organic winery in the region. The vineyards are located on sparse Jurassic limestone soils in the Altmühltal as well as in prime sites in Franconia. The grape variety spectrum includes fungus-resistant grape varieties such as Muscaris, Cabertin, and Cabernet Cortis, alongside classic Pinot varieties. Organic viticulture and certified methods shape the production of organic wines, seccos, and premium sparkling wines. The grapes are selectively harvested by hand and vinified in the estate's own cellar.
