Bergwy Wilchingen

About the estate

The Swiss winery Bergwy Wilchingen has been run by Beat and Tabitha in the fourth generation since 2012. Built in 1880, the farm is located in the Klettgau region on the Wilchingerberg within the AOC Schaffhausen denomination. Across a vineyard area of over six hectares, the estate cultivates the five grape varieties Pinot Noir, Riesling-Silvaner, Chardonnay, Gamaret, and Dakapo. Viticulture is conducted in harmony with nature without the use of herbicides, and the grapes are pressed in partner cellars of trust. In addition to winemaking, the mixed agricultural operation includes arable farming and calf rearing according to IP-Suisse guidelines.
