Baron Di Pauli

About the estate

The Baron Di Pauli estate looks back on a history of over three centuries and is run by a family that found its home in Kaltern in the 18th century. The winery cultivates fourteen hectares of vineyards, which are divided between Arzenhof on the western shore of Lake Caldaro with a Mediterranean climate and moraine debris soils, and the Höfl unterm Stein estate with loamy calcareous gravel soils in Söll. Vineyard yields are reduced to a minimum to ensure quality and character, and the grapes are harvested by hand. In the cellar, the wines are given the time they need to develop, which is why they are only marketed after reaching their drinking maturity. The wines fall under the Alto Adige DOC denomination.
