About the estate
The Azienda agricola Gabriele Caprara winery was established more than twenty years ago with the objective of vinifying its own grapes and has expanded over the years through the planting of new vineyards. Today, the estate cultivates approximately eight hectares of vines in the municipalities of Biasca, Semione, Ludiano, Giornico, and Pollegio on light, sandy, and permeable soils. The grape variety portfolio includes Merlot, Bondola, Carminoir, Gamaret, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and fungus-resistant PIWI varieties. Vinification is traditionally carried out in stainless steel tanks, while certain wines undergo maturation in new and used barriques.
