About the estate

The Tamborini Carlo SA estate looks back on a long-standing history that began in 1944 with a wine import company and is now managed in the third generation. Based in Lamone in Ticino, the winery cultivates around 25 hectares of specialized vineyards in the region's prime locations, including Comano, Castelrotto, and Gudo. Cultivation is carried out according to integrated production principles, with grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carminoir, and Johanniter being grown. The modern cellar facilities produce various wines, which include the Ticino DOC and Bianco Svizzero IGT denominations, among others.

The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Merlot. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
