Cagi Cantina Giubiasco

About the estate

Cagi Cantina Giubiasco was founded in 1929 and was the first cooperative in the wine sector of the Canton of Ticino. Today, working with numerous winegrowers, the estate vinifies around twelve percent of the entire Ticino wine production. The main focus is on the Merlot grape variety, which is used for red, white, and rosé wines as well as spumante. In addition, the single-varietal vinification of the native Bondola grape contributes to the preservation of this tradition. The portfolio includes classic red wines, reserves aged in oak barrels, and experimental new grape varieties.
