About the estate

The Ancarani winery is located in Faenza in Emilia-Romagna and is led by Claudio Ancarani, who inherited his passion for viticulture from his grandfather. The estate cultivates the native grape varieties Albana, Sangiovese, Centesimino, Famoso and Trebbiano. The working method is artisanal with manual harvesting, a focus on regional character rather than prestige wines, and a reduced use of sulfites and copper. Tanks made of steel and cement are used for both fermentation and maturation. The portfolio reflects the natural expression of the territory and the identity of the winemaker.
