The winery cultivates three hectares of vineyards within the Bierzo DO designation, specifically featuring the Mencía grape variety in the El Cotelo estate vineyard. Vinification follows traditional methods including cold maceration and subsequent fermentations in an underground barrel cellar. The estate works closely with traditional coopers to craft wines with complexity, character, and aging potential.
