L'azienda ΙΔΑΙΑ ΟΙΝΟΠΟΙΗΤΙΚΗ è stata fondata nel 2000 dagli enologi Vasilis Laderos e Kalliopi Volitaki nel villaggio di Venerato, a sud di Iraklio. Questa tenuta a conduzione familiare si trova nel cuore del vigneto cretese, all'interno della zona PDO Dafnes. I vigneti sono situati in una topografia montuosa su pendii esposti a nord ad altitudini che vanno dai 400 ai 550 metri su terreni prevalentemente calcarei e poveri. A causa del terreno montuoso, tutte le operazioni in vigna e la vendemmia vengono eseguite manualmente. L'obiettivo della tenuta è valorizzare i vitigni autoctoni e il poliedrico vigneto cretese.
