Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Domaine du Météore liegt hoch in den Bergen des Languedoc, wo die Reben in und um einen vor zehntausend Jahren eingeschlagenen Meteoritenkrater wachsen. Die Rebflächen des Anwesens erstrecken sich über die Schieferböden der Appellationen Faugères und Saint-Chinian. Eingebettet in die von wildem Thymian, Fenchel und Zistrosen geprägte Garrigue produziert der Betrieb Bio-Weine. Das von der Landschaft inspirierte Weingut befindet sich im Regionalen Naturpark Haut-Languedoc und bietet Besuchern neben Weinverkostungen auch Spaziergänge an.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 11 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Syrah und Grenache. Der Betrieb beliefert Handel und Gastronomie.

A very pretty, bright pale colour with rosy-peach skin highlights. The nose opens on red fruit and blood orange. The palate is dynamic and well structured. We find the fresh, saline finish that is so characteristic of this cuvée.
