Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Alvio Pestarino wurde im Jahr 1919 gegründet, als Giovanni Pestarino eine Cascina mit einem kleinen Weinberg in Capriata d’Orba erwarb. Heute wird der Betrieb in der vierten Generation von der Familie geführt, wobei die Weinberge in derselben Gemeinde liegen. Zu den kultivierten Rebsorten gehören unter anderem Cortese, Dolcetto, Barbera, Pinot Nero, Syrah, Viognier und Timorasso. Das Portfolio umfasst traditionelle Appellationen wie Gavi DOCG und Ovada DOCG. Bei der Bewirtschaftung setzt der Betrieb auf integrierte Landwirtschaft und legt großen Wert auf die sorgfältige Pflege der Ökosysteme im Weinberg.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 8 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Dolcetto und Cortese.
