About the estate

The Winzerhof Löwener Mühle, M. Johaentges estate on the Moselle has demonstrably existed since at least 1603 and looks back on a long history under changing historical influences. Today, the winegrowing family runs the operation together across four generations on the historic property. Monika and Matthias Johaentges converted the farm into an estate bottling its own wine, while daughter Stephanie and her husband Fabian represent the next generation carrying on the viticulture and the Vinofactur Löwener Mühle founded in 2021. In addition to winemaking, the offerings include a proprietary fruit distillery as well as a new farm shop and a wine tavern.
