About the estate

The Weingut Schloss Reinhartshausen estate in Eltville am Rhein looks back on a history dating back to 1337 and has shaped wine culture in the Rheingau for more than 680 years. Operating as a certified organic winery, the family manages unique vineyard sites such as Hattenheimer Nussbrunnen, Erbacher Marcobrunn, and the monopoly site Schlossberg. Alongside classic Riesling wines, the portfolio also includes bottlings from historic grape varieties and PIWI varieties from Mariannenaue. The estate's wines are exported to numerous countries worldwide. Since last spring, the son has been active in the operation as the head winemaker.
