About the estate

The Winzerhof Hackner estate is a traditional family-run winery located in Palt in the Kremstal region, managed by the Hackner family across three generations. The estate cultivates about six hectares of vineyards in diverse locations at the foot of the Göttweig Mountain, including Grüner Veltliner in Höhlgraben and Steinbühel, Riesling in Katzengraben, and Cabernet Sauvignon in Oberfeld. The winery places great emphasis on a close connection to nature, careful cultivation, and has been certified according to the Nachhaltig Austria standards since 2023. In the cellar, Philipp and Helmut process the grapes using modern technology and traditional craftsmanship to produce variety-typical wines that reflect the natural characteristics of the region.
