Winzerhof Geppel

About the estate

The Winzerhof Geppel estate is located in Krustetten south of Krems between the Göttweig Benedictine Abbey and the Wetterkreuz. The diverse soils of the property range from loess and gravel to deep, lime-rich humus soils, on which appropriately suited grape varieties are cultivated. The family-run winery produces fruit-driven white wines and distinctive red wines through hand harvesting, traditional mash fermentation, and modern cellar technology. In the cellar, the wines are given sufficient time and rest to preserve their natural character. The portfolio is complemented by a traditional wine tavern serving regional and seasonal specialties.
