The Winzergenossenschaft Oberbergen eG cooperative is located in Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl in the Baden wine region and was founded in 1924. Today, more than 400 winegrower families cultivate a total vineyard area of over 350 hectares in the Oberbergener Baßgeige and Schelinger Kirchberg sites. The volcanic rock and warm loess-loam soils in Germany's sunniest region provide ideal conditions for the cultivation of Pinot varieties. The gentle processing of the grapes and modern cellar management characterize the estate's operations. The portfolio includes wines from the Baden denomination, which are distributed through the winery's own vinothek.
