About the estate

The Meier estate is located in Weyher along the Southern Wine Route and is managed in the sixth generation by Georg Meier. The vineyards cover an area of 20 hectares, which are currently being converted to organic farming. Alongside the primary focus on Riesling, cultivated grape varieties include various Pinot varieties as well as Grüner Veltliner, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. In the cellar, the winemaker combines modern technology with extended yeast contact for white wines and maturation in small oak barrels for red wines.

The eno directory lists 32 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir. The estate sells to retail.
