About the estate

The Wimmer-Czerny estate is located in Fels am Wagram, Austria, and cultivates old vineyard sites on diverse soils including loess, gravel, and marine sand. The grape variety portfolio features Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Zweigelt, among others. The winery relies entirely on hand harvesting and manages its vineyards according to biodynamic principles as a Demeter-certified farm. In the cellar, vinification is carried out gently using native yeasts, without the use of fermentation computers and entirely without filtration for red wines.

The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Noir. The estate sells to retail.
