About the estate

The Weedenborn estate is located in Monzernheim in the Rhine-Hessen wine region and is led by winemaker Gesine Roll. More than 25 years ago, the first rows of vines on the estate's high-altitude sites were planted with Sauvignon Blanc, making the winery the producer with the highest proportion of this grape variety in Germany. The vineyards extend up to 280 meters above sea level above Westhofen. These cool and windy limestone sites promote a slow ripening of the grapes. The working philosophy focuses on craftsmanship, origin, and precision to produce wines with a distinctive signature.
