About the estate

The Weingut Familie Erbeldinger estate is a traditional, independent family business in Bechtheim in the south of Rheinhessen, run in the third generation for over sixty years. Around the town, the team cultivates vineyards on fertile loess-loam soils, working organically in the vineyard and dispensing with pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. The diverse portfolio ranges from liter wines and estate wines to special qualities, sparkling wine, and non-alcoholic alternatives. In the cellar, the development of the wines is accompanied with respect and attention to produce characterful and digestible wines. Starting with the 2023 vintage, the first wines officially bear the organic seal.

The eno directory lists 67 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Blanc. The estate sells to horeca and retail. Export markets include Austria, Italy, Netherlands and Switzerland.
