About the estate

The Wohlgemuth-Schnürr estate in Gundersheim, Rhenish Hesse, looks back on a history that began in 1932. Over the decades, the winery evolved through mergers and expansions before being handed over to the successor family in the year 2000. Today, the estate cultivates more than one hectare of the historical grape variety Früher roter Malvasier alongside traditional German and international varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Scheurebe. Winemaking and operations are supported by a barrel cellar and a comprehensive sustainability concept utilizing renewable energy. Working shoulder to shoulder, the family and their team continuously develop distinct wine styles and concepts.
