About the estate
The Weingut Theo Scherbaum estate is managed in the fourth generation in Mainz-Kostheim in the Rheingau and builds on a tradition established in 1935. The vineyards are located in the Kostheimer Steig and Kostheimer Kiliansberg sites. The grape variety portfolio includes classic varieties such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir. The estate has been a certified organic winery since 2015 and places great emphasis on biodiversity, soil management, and a natural vinification process without animal-derived agents.
