About the estate
The Speicher-Schuth estate in Kiedrich in the Rheingau region is managed in the second generation by Ralf Schuth, who took over the parental winery in 1995. Across a vineyard area of approximately 13 hectares, the focus lies mainly on Riesling and Pinot Noir cultivated in traditional sites such as Kiedricher Sandgrub. Additional grape varieties grown include Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah. The winery relies on strict yield-reducing pruning, staged selective hand harvesting, and extended lees aging for the Riesling. The Pinot Noirs mature in wooden casks following a maceration period of several weeks.
