About the estate

The Weingut Sonnenberg Marc Linden estate cultivates three hectares of vineyards in the Ahr wine region. The family-run winery was founded in 1981 by Norbert Görres and is now managed by the second and third generations. Pinot Noir is at the center of production, crafted according to the philosophy of quality over quantity. Vineyard management relies on selective hand harvesting and organic fertilizers instead of synthetic chemicals. In the cellar, the wines are traditionally aged in wooden barrels to impart a subtle oak influence while highlighting their regional origin.
