About the estate
The Weingut Coels estate is a traditional, fifth-generation family winery based in the heart of Ahrweiler. The approximately 3 hectares of cultivated area are located in the Ahr Valley and on the slopes of the Middle Rhine. Certified viticultural engineer Markus Coels is responsible for the work in the vineyards and the cellar. His brother Sven Coels, a trained chef and IHK wine sommelier, manages gastronomy and sales. Together, the family continues to run the estate with a clear philosophy.
