About the estate
Located in Kaltern along the South Tyrolean Wine Road, the WeinGut Seppi is a family-run estate managed for generations, today led by Werner Seppi. The traditional estate cultivates vineyards across various historical sites and plots around Kaltern, which are characterized by different soils and microclimates. In 2005, the winery converted to biodynamic farming methods to strengthen its connection to nature and resource-efficient management in the vineyard. Since 2016, the estate has been vinifying and marketing a portion of its grapes independently. Grape varieties such as Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Vernatsch, and Cabernet Franc are cultivated across the various parcels.
