About the estate
The Weingut Schwörer estate traces its origins back to 1812 and has since been connected with viticulture in Durbach, Baden. Since 2001, the winery has been managed by Josef Rohrer, who cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards using sustainable methods in steep locations such as Plauelrain, Ölberg, and Kochberg. On the weathered granite soils, grape varieties such as Klingelberger Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Traminer, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc thrive. In the cellar, the grapes are carefully crafted into delicate white wines, oak-aged Pinot Noirs, sparkling wine, and spirits.
