About the estate

The Weingut Schottenhof estate is located in Sprendlingen within the Rheinhessen region and looks back on a winemaking tradition founded in the 18th century. Today, the winery is managed by Dr. Erik Weidmann representing the family's continuation of the estate following structural developments and cellar renovations. Covering 3.5 hectares of vineyards, the estate farms plots situated in the Klostergarten site. In the cellar, production relies on methods such as whole-bunch pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation to craft individual wines. The estate bottles and markets its production directly as an independent winegrower.
