The Weingut Ökonomierat Herber estate is located in the wine village of Perl within the Saarland wine-growing region along the Moselle and looks back on a family tradition dating back to 1919. The historic property dates from 1830 and is currently run by the fourth and fifth generations. Across 11 hectares of vineyards in Perl, Sehndorf, and Schengen, the winery cultivates sites characterized by shell limestone soils. The region is predominantly planted with Burgundy varieties and Elbling. The estate produces vegan, sustainable wines with a focus on mineral profiles.
