The Kühner-Adams winery in Mehring is an independent family-run business where winemaking is practiced as a true craft. The estate cultivates nearly three hectares of vineyards situated in classic steep slate slopes along the Moselle with south and southwest exposures. The care of the vines from pruning to harvest is carried out entirely by hand to obtain healthy and fully ripe grapes. In the cellar, the grapes from each vineyard are vinified in separate batches with minimal intervention in the natural maturation process. The objective is to produce variety- and site-specific wines characterized by a fine fruit and aroma structure as well as a pronounced minerality.
The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir.
