About the estate
The Weingut Kaufmann estate is a family business located in the southern Markgräflerland in Efringen-Kirchen, managed by Günter Kaufmann since 1988. Together with Annette Kaufmann and their eldest son Florian, the family runs the winery situated in South Baden. Since 1992, the vineyard area has been cultivated according to organic guidelines, making the estate one of the pioneering businesses for organic viticulture in the Markgräflerland as a member of the ECOVIN association. Beneath the residential building lies a vaulted cellar featuring wooden barrels used for maturing red wines. Over the years, the estate has been continuously expanded with holiday apartments, a bottle storage facility, a machinery hall, a renovated wine cellar, and a vinotheque.
