About the estate

Based in Fellbach in Württemberg, the Heid winery cultivates vineyards in sites such as Fellbacher Lämmler, Stettener Pulvermächer, and Fellbacher Goldberg. The soils of the steep and sloping vineyards consist primarily of weathered Keuper, reed sandstone, and variegated marl. The grape varieties grown in the vineyards are predominantly Burgundy varieties, Lemberger, and Riesling. The estate focuses on maintaining soil fertility, organic plant protection, consistent quantity reduction, and yield regulation to produce healthy and fully ripe grapes. In the cellar, the wines from the various plots are vinified separately.
