About the estate

Founded in 1961, the Eymann winery in Gönnheim is one of the pioneer estates in organic viticulture and operates according to biodynamic principles. Today, the estate cultivates nearly 18 hectares of vineyards in Gönnheim, Bad Dürkheim, and Wachenheim. The focus lies on classic origin-driven wines made from Riesling and Pinot Noir, as well as sparkling wines produced through traditional bottle fermentation. The working methods in the vineyard and cellar include manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation, and extended yeast aging. Since 2015, Vincent Eymann has managed the family estate, shaping its focus on expressive wines from calcareous loess soils and lean variegated sandstone soils.
