About the estate

The Eder estate located in Gedersdorf has been operated as a family business since 1849 and is now in its seventh generation. The vineyards benefit from optimal sites on powerful loess terraces and the climatic interplay of humid cold from the Waldviertel and dry warmth from the Pannonian Basin. The diverse wine portfolio ranges from light, fragrant to expressive, opulent white wines as well as velvety and full-bodied red wines. Cultivated areas include renowned sites such as Spiegel, Tiefenthal, Reisenthal, and Gernlissen.
