About the estate

The Weingut Dr. Frey estate, located in Kanzem along the Mosel, is managed by Katharina Frey-Treseler and Cord-Henrich Treseler with a strong commitment to consistently implemented organic viticulture. As a member of the Ecovin association, the winery refrains from using chemical-synthetic crop protection and synthetic fertilizers, while actively promoting cover crops and biodiversity in the vineyards. Furthermore, the estate participates in conservation programs such as Partnerbetrieb Naturschutz and Lebendige Moselweinberge, also utilizing a group of goats for landscape management on fallow and protected land. Sustainability is a core principle applied to energy supply and operations, including the use of renewable power sources and renewable raw materials.
